What you CAN throw away
The vast majority of everyday debris is welcome in an EWS roll-off: construction and demolition material, wood, drywall, roofing, flooring, furniture, appliances (without Freon), household junk and yard waste. If it came out of a remodel, cleanout or build, it almost certainly belongs in the dumpster.
What's prohibited
For safety and Miami-Dade / Florida disposal rules, keep these OUT: hazardous waste (paint, solvents, motor oil, chemicals), wet paint, asbestos, tires, batteries, propane tanks, medical waste, and appliances containing Freon such as refrigerators and A/C units. These require special handling and can't be landfilled with regular debris.
Not sure about an item? Just ask
When in doubt, call before you load it — it saves you overage or contamination fees later. EWS will tell you exactly what's allowed and point you to the right disposal option for anything that isn't. Call (305) 691-1516 for a fast answer.
